Metanoia: Performance and Discussion
by Alice Floyd

7.30pm Thursday 30 November, St Alban’s Church

‘Metanoia’ (μετάνοια), usually translated ‘repentance’, is a Greek word frequently used in the New Testament. Its deep meaning is something like ‘change of mind’ or ‘change of heart’. It is a compound of ‘meta’ (μετά), ‘after’ or ‘beyond’, and ‘noeo’ (νοέω), ‘to think/perceive’.

Alice Floyd, local Oxford social artist, delivers an arts performance on the power of encounters and our responses. This is a wonderful way to prepare for Advent creatively.
