This year, during the days between Ascension Day (30 May) and Pentecost or Whit Sunday (9 June) we are using a series of readings as a way to explore what God is calling us to do, in our own lives and in the wider community.
The readings are intended to be used at home as an aid to private prayer and reflection.
If you’d like to join us, the booklet is available here: Thy Kingdom Come
And if you’d like to join us for a service during this period, you could try:
Ascension Day (30 May) – 7.30am, Morning Prayer on the tower; 7.30pm, Eucharist at Bartlemas Chapel
The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (31 May) – 5.00pm, Eucharist at St Mary and St John
Pentecost (9 June) – 8.00am, Eucharist at St Mary and St John; 10.00am – Joint Service at St Mary and St John (starting with a procession from the convent of All Saints Sisters of the Poor); 6.15pm, Eucharist at St Mary and St John.
